Terms of Use

Last updated: July 14, 2026

Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Rebound ("we", "us"), the developer and operator of the Rebound iOS app, and they govern your use of the app and this website. By downloading or using Rebound, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Eligibility

You must be old enough to form a binding agreement where you live, or use Rebound with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. Rebound is not directed to children under 13.

License to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Rebound on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and to Apple's App Store terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app;
  • reverse engineer or attempt to extract the app's source code, except where the law permits it despite this restriction;
  • use the app in a way that violates any law or regulation;
  • interfere with or disrupt the app, or circumvent its subscription requirements.

Screen-time and blocking limitations

Rebound uses Apple's Screen Time technology to shield the apps you choose. You should understand its practical limits:

  • Blocking is not guaranteed to always function. Blocking depends on Apple's frameworks, iOS behavior, your settings, and your permissions. iOS updates, permission changes, restarts, or framework errors can interrupt blocking.
  • You are responsible for your device settings. Rebound requires Screen Time (Family Controls) permission to work, and you can revoke that permission, or remove the app, at any time. Features described as locks or protections are honest friction, not unbreakable barriers.
  • Rebound is a tool, not a treatment. It is not medical care, therapy, or treatment for any condition, and we make no promises about outcomes such as reduced screen time, improved focus, or productivity.

Subscriptions and billing

Access to Rebound requires an auto-renewable subscription purchased through Apple's App Store. Current plans:

  • Annual: $39.99 per year . Includes a 7-day free trial.
  • Weekly: $4.99 per week .
  • Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Apple is the merchant of record; we never see your full payment details.
  • Free trial. Where a plan includes a free trial, the subscription begins charging when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. Any unused portion of a trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Cancellation. You can cancel anytime in your device's settings (Settings > your name > Subscriptions) or at Apple's subscription page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.
  • Restoring purchases. If you reinstall the app or switch devices, use "Restore Purchases" on the unlock screen while signed in to the Apple ID that made the purchase.
  • Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's applicable policies. You can request one at Apple's refund page. We cannot issue App Store refunds directly.

Changes to pricing or plans

We may change subscription prices or introduce, modify, or retire plans. Price changes for an existing subscription follow Apple's rules, which generally require notice and, in some cases, your consent before a higher price takes effect. If you do not agree to a change, you can cancel before it applies.

Intellectual property

Rebound, including its design, code, text, and branding, is owned by Rebound and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights other than the limited license above. Apple trademarks belong to Apple Inc.

Feedback

If you send us ideas or suggestions, you agree we may use them without restriction or compensation. Do not send feedback you consider confidential.

Third-party services

Rebound depends on services we do not control, including Apple's App Store, Screen Time frameworks, and the subscription infrastructure providers described in our Privacy Policy. Those services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

Disclaimers

Rebound is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that blocking will function in every circumstance.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rebound will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Rebound. To the same extent, our total liability for all claims relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Termination

You can stop using Rebound at any time by canceling your subscription and deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) survive.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and note the change in the app's release notes. Continuing to use Rebound after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and any dispute that is not subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules will be resolved by the courts of Madrid, Spain. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights you have under the mandatory laws of the place where you live, and if you are a consumer you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your own place of residence.

Apple's standard EULA

Unless we have provided a separate custom end-user license agreement for Rebound, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your use of the app. If these Terms conflict with Apple's standard EULA regarding the license to the app, the standard EULA controls to the extent of the conflict.
